How it works…
There are so many reasons why you may want to book a makeup lesson with me.
You may feel that you have never really known what colours suit you and how best to apply them.
The choice of products and brands today are overwhelming and it is very easy to make expensive mistakes! We are often on Zoom and Teams calls and need to look our best on camera.
Having previously worked as UK Training Manager for a premium cosmetics brand, I love to pass on all my extensive knowledge and professional techniques.
The lesson involves a step by step demonstration on one half of your face explaining each step
as I apply, using colours and products to suit you. You will then recreate the look on the other half of your face, this ensures that through a hands on approach you will remember and learn effectively. We will finish with a smudge chart, a list of the products and a mini photo session to record your look.
Makeup Lesson for Mature Ladies – £160
As we age it is very easy to continue doing the same makeup that you have done for years. If you feel that you are “stuck in a rut” with your makeup routine, then you could really benefit from a lesson.
You may be still using outdated colours, have faded out eyebrows and foundation that sits in your pores. Feel free to bring your makeup bag with you so we can sort out which products you have that you can still use and of course which new products you may need.
Makeup Lesson for Teenagers – £150
Makeup can be so overwhelming when we are young, with numerous YouTube tutorials and Social Media. Not all that information is coming from experienced, professional makeup artists that have actually worked in the industry for many years!
Learning all the basic techniques can really help you on your makeup journey, ensuring that you don’t buy “orange” foundation and can do that wing eyeliner like an expert!
Makeup Lesson for Makeup Artists – £180
Are you planning a career as a Makeup Artist? My lesson could be your first step as a Professional Makeup Artist.
I previously worked as a Training Manager for a premium Cosmetics Company where I was responsible for all staff training and was lucky enough to travel to Europe and Australia. I’ve also worked on numerous shoots, London and Paris Fashion Week and TV including Dancing on Ice.
Whatever area of the industry you would like to work in, I can help with the practical training and impart all my knowledge of how the industry works and the best way to succeed.
Makeup Lesson for a Destination Bride – £160
Are you getting married overseas or you may prefer to do your own makeup on the day.
Together we can work out a perfect bridal makeup look for you. We will discuss skincare leading up to your day, and choose colours to enhance and flatter and products that ensure durability, vital if you are getting married in a hot climate. I will do one half of the face and you will then recreate the look on the other half.
I will request some inspiration makeup photos, (from my gallery or Pinterest), photos of you and your dress so I have a clear idea of the style of your wedding.
Makeup Lessons for Two – £290
You and your mum, your bestie or sister.
This shared makeup lesson can make a wonderful gift, given as a Gift Voucher or just booked as a shared experience. You can both learn together, have fun and embrace new skills to boost your confidence.
All individual tutorials take approximately 2 hours, shared tutorials for two take approximately 2.5/3 hours.
Makeup Artist Tutorials take 2.5 hours.
The lessons take place in my dedicated space at home in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells. A deposit of £50 will be required at the time of booking.
